Today in IT class

Today in IT class I worked on the explanation part of my tutorial. I did this by planning what to record for both GIMP tutorials. When I get home, I will use a program called 'Hypercam' to record my tutorials, by recording what I do on the screen, and by recording my voice which explains what to do. I was able to plan exactly what to say and I got to fully understand the skills that I was going to teach.

I used the lesson to plan this because when I get home, I will use the 'Hypercam' program to make the tutorial.

Today's IT class

Today in IT class there was a problem with the installation of GIMP. It took me around 20 minutes to install it, because at first i was installing the GIMP manual instead of GIMP itself.

I also worked on my design and finished steps 1 to 6 of my plan.

1 missed period of IT

On monday's class, which is the 15th of november. this means i lost 50 minutes in which i could have worked on my "create" section

25 October I.T class

This lesson I worked on my plan. I wrote down the resources needed to make the product. I had problems with deciding how long each step takes, and this consumed my time.

Overall, I believe I worked effectively on my plan and progressed the right amount in the period of time given.

Today in IT class

This lesson, I worked on my design. I completed "Design 1", which is a powerpoint presentation with video tutorials and with a quiz at the end.

I also did my second tutorial, which is a series of WikiHow tutorials on how to do different skills on GIMP.

I found it hard to think up of these designs, because from my current knowledge, there are not many ways to make a tutorial.

Today in IT class I worked on answering the following questions:

1.      How do people learn more effectively?

2.      What are good examples of teaching aids?

I found Rosetta Stone, a teaching aid for languages, which helped me answer my second question.
