Writing my Plan Evaluation

After sucessfully finishing the production part of my teaching aid, I went on to write up my plan evaluation and justifying the changes I made to my product.

This part took me around 45 minutes, becuase of the large quantity of what I had to speak about.

Working on the 'Create' at home

Since I precisely planned what I was going to say in each tutorial, I used the program 'Hypercam' to record my voice and screen. The explanation of how I did this can be found on my word document entitled "Process Journal". It took me around 15 minutes to record each tutorial, because I had to re-record when I made mistakes, such as using the wrong word, or making a mistake whilst demonstrating the tutorial.

This made this part of my 'Create' lengthy, because of the long time spent recording myself and my computer screen. I spent longer than I had anticipated, because in my plan I had estimated that I would take only 10 minutes for both GIMP tutorials (5 minutes for each), which shows a big fault in my time management.

Today in IT class

Today in IT class I worked on the explanation part of my tutorial. I did this by planning what to record for both GIMP tutorials. When I get home, I will use a program called 'Hypercam' to record my tutorials, by recording what I do on the screen, and by recording my voice which explains what to do. I was able to plan exactly what to say and I got to fully understand the skills that I was going to teach.

I used the lesson to plan this because when I get home, I will use the 'Hypercam' program to make the tutorial.
